History of International Islamic University

The foundation of the International Islamic University Islamabad was laid on November 11, 1980. The desire to produce scholars and practitioners, imbued with Islamic learning, character and personality and capable to meet the economic, social, Political, technological and intellectual needs of the Muslim Umaha, was the purpose of establishment of this university. The university was reconstituted as international Islamic University, Islamabad with the promulgation of ordinance No. XX1985 Schools in Pakistan are categorized under two headings; Public and Private schools. The ever increasing population brings about a dire need for educational institutions. The public sector schools being overcrowded and a majority lacking resources, the population resorts to private schooling for their children. Focus on modernization and inculcating western values causes apprehensions in parents as they admit their future generations in available private education providers .Parents strongly feel the lack of a strong value base but desire the best available education in terms of quality . IIUI Schools offer international standard systems entrenched within a strong value base makes it the first choice of parents.
